Exhibition: Idyll |
My contribution to this exhibition focussing on the topic of "Idyll" was a display containing some 20 postcards. The cards show (more or less) famous buildings and motifs of the city of Bonn. Tey are done in the common way, including bright, blue sky and the name of the city written on them. What distinguishes them from usual postcards is what is shown: ugly architecture and buildings from their worst, in contrast to their most beautyful front.
